Stronger Together: How ZimWorX and Smiles for Everyone Foundation Are Expanding Access to Care

Last year, ZimWorX partnered with Smiles for Everyone Foundation to help launch four global Dental Outposts, backed by a $300,000 commitment to expand dental care in underserved communities. This is what that work looks like on the ground.

Rooted in Zimbabwe, built to last

In Zimbabwe, that work is already taking shape. Built in collaboration with Celebration Health, the focus is simple: create a clinic that is locally led, sustainable, and designed to serve for the long term, not just a facility that opens, but one that endures. Dr. Freeblessing leads as Head Doctor, alongside Ms. Nkosie and her team, who are managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the clinic reflects the real needs of the community it serves. While services are still being prepared, the priority is clear: build it right from the start, so it lasts.

A first dental visit,  in Rwanda

That same commitment is already making an impact beyond Zimbabwe. Because of ZimWorX’s support, two young adults in Rwanda were able to visit a dentist for the very first time. This is what meaningful partnership looks like. Not just showing up in the moment, but building systems that continue to serve, strengthen communities, and extend care over time. That same commitment is already making an impact beyond Zimbabwe. Because of ZimWorX’s support, two young adults in Rwanda were able to visit a dentist for the very first time.

Through a partnership with Smiles for Everyone Foundation and Africa New Life Ministries, students who had been living with untreated dental pain finally received the care they needed. It wasn’t just treatment — it was relief. Confidence restored. Dignity returned.
